omg.

Have just received the best news of all time.

First. Backstory.
Alex and I were watching the Notebook and during a commercial break, there was an advertisement for Vermont Teddy Bears. A minute into the commercial I still thought it was a spoof for something else, because it was THAT cheesy and ridiculous, and when it ended and we had to admit it was a REAL commercial for REAL handcrafted Vermont Teddy Bears, I think Alex and I both secretly wanted to buy them for each other.
Because come on. Love Bandit Bear? A bandanged up bear with a crutch called "I've Fallen For You"?
And the best part is: they're wildly expensive. $100 freaking teddy bears.
AND THERE IS REALLY NOTHING SPECIAL ABOUT THEM.
It's one of the beautiful mysterious of life; how this company exists.

ANYWAY. THE GOOD NEWS.

Liz was with us when we discovered this gold mine, and she has JUST texted me to inform me that Vermont Teddy Bears were referenced on a episode of the Simpsons from 5 years ago.

I MUST SEE THIS EPISODE.
