Independence Day.

I didn't like the idea of Alex just sitting alone at my house for 5 days, even though I'm pretty sure he's excited about getting to play video games with the guys and not be forced to eat healthy by me and to get to sleep on my side of the bed (I know he is, I always get the good side xD) but when I told him this, he said this in response to reassure me:

"You go to North Dakota and celebrate your Independence from the British. You can't very well celebrate that with someone who's British."

Hahaa.

So here I am, spending my 4th of July independent from my the British boyfriend I left back in Seattle. Proud to be an American or whatever. Maybe I'll throw some tea into a river or something (no oceans in the midwest). Hahaha.

Also, on that note, we got to Wisconsin yesterday and I saw what was probably the most ridiculous gas station chain ever. I made my dad pull over so I could take a picture:

This, America, is us taking it too far.

.....That is the weirdest name for a gas station. Thank god your dad was willing to stop for the picture lol.

Welcome to Wisconsin. Sorry for the high suck levels.

BTW...my word verification for this comment is torso. I don't know why I find that funny.

Is it just me or does family vacation make you blog more? If this is the case I am all for constant family vacations! Your tag had me cracking up at work. If there is going to be tea throwing I reccomend lakes.

Where in WI did your travels take you? I'm guessing if you drove a number of hours from MN to get there it's pretty close to the western border somewhere.

Don't be fooled. We have many other crazy things in WI besides gas stations w/ strange names & signs.

Does Alex just perpetually chill? I mean, you go to college, and you talk about your job. But as far as I can tell, he just permanently hangs around. How long has he been at your house now? Don't get me wrong, I think his lifestyle is completely amazing. I just wonder how he manages it. Does youtube really pay him that well?

Maybe the owner of Freedom simply did for the lulz.
I would have.

Happy forth!
I think as a country we have to turn it down a notch there are other places in the world. Oh, hope you have fun in Minnesota. I suppose your near the cities thats the only place were anything ever happens. Except http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrNW5bhAmrU but that was last summer. No more crop circles for us.

I've got noting wrong with Independence Day as a whole, but being British it's annoying how there's huge parades and celebrations that you got free of us! I'm spending next July 4th either grumping that we lost America or making some kind of video for YouTube where I tell the forefathers/founders/whatever-you-want-to-call-them of America about George Dubya Bush and then them screaming and being afraid of the future or something. Or I could just be very british for the day.
By the way (this is a long comment), can people just take a couple of minutes to stop by my blog, I have been struggling for a year posting so that some Indian dude, ome friends and my family read it! http://joshington.blogspot.com
