Why people are dumb.

This is my life:
(This happened on the phone, by the way)

Me: "Alright, that will be row L, seats 13 and 14."
Patron: "Row O, got it, thanks."
Me: "No, that was Row L, L as in 'love'."
Patron: "O as in 'love', alright."
Me: "........ no. Not O as in love. L. ELL. L as in 'Larry'."
Patron: "...... there's no O in Larry."
Me: "THAT'S BECAUSE IT'S NOT AN O IT'S AN L."
Patron: "Oh. L."

Ahhhhhh.

  1. You should have just made the L sign with your fingers...

Then again, "loser" has an "o" in it.

<3 Bet you miss that road trip now.

  3. I wouldn't be able to not go crazy from encounters like that.

  4. Some people just don't want to hear things. I would yell to that person, so good it was you on the phone and not me.

  6. AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA. That person either has a hilarious sense of humour OR they're partially deaf.

  8. This reminds me of a story. The story involves fortune cookies.

ME: (reading my fortune cookie) Focus on maintaining patience.

MY SISTER: What did you say?

ME: FOCUS ON MAINTAINING patience! WILL YOU LISTEN FOR ONCE!

MY SISTER: Listen to your cookie.

  9. Wow I would have wanted to kill myself/hang up the phone. Thank god you were only on the phone though. I can only imagine how annoyed you (or any person) would have looked going through such annoyances. Kudos to you for not hanging up.

  12. I'm glad some people can actually deal with people like that. If it was me I would have blown up lol.

  13. Ahaha. "There's no O in Larry" Brilliant.

I also commend you for your patience. I have very little patience to begin with, and even less with stupid people...

  14. Oh wow... People are stupid. I ordered chocolate custard with resees pieces and hot fudge and got vanilla. It wasn't even remotely crowed, so it's not like my order got mixed up with anyone else.

  15. A mate of mine was traveling in Texas and he wanted a "Charge Card" for his mobile phone. It took him ten minutes to convince the lady he didn't want a "Change Cod?" Accent fail.

  17. I don't really see how someone can think L is O. But then again people are idiots these days
